A desperate plea from a frantic mother.

“I would say to my daughter please come home if anybody has her,” said Tracy Henbury, Alexys’ mother.

Henbury, 24, was last seen Saturday in the area of Philadelphia and Linwood in Detroit.

Her mother Tracy, says Alexys planned to pick up her nephew that afternoon, but never showed.

“We were obviously scared," Tracy said. "And I went to my Sprint bill and to her phone because her phone was off and we started to make phone calls and she has been nowhere to be found since."

Her family really began to panic when the Springfield Township resident, who attends Baker College and works as a Certified Nursing Assistant didn't show up for either on Monday.

Friends told her mother they had last heard from Alexys on Saturday around 5 p.m. A man answered her phone, claimed he was her brother and told them she was drunk. The phone died before friends could find out where she was.

“He represented himself as Alexys' brother and her brothers aren't in Michigan," Tracy said. "So nobody knows who it was the phone never went back on since it was off."

Her mom says Alexys has never run away and never disappeared. She has never even lost her phone without alerting someone right away.

She worries her daughter may be too trusting, and her vulnerability may have gotten her in trouble.

If anyone has seen Alexys or spotted her car, a white 2015 four-door Ford Focus with the Michigan license plate DHE0978, they are asked to call the Oakland County Sheriff's Office right away.

“We have a very big and very loving family. We communicate constantly with Alexys so she just wouldn't do this and something's wrong,” said Henbury.

Right now, investigators are trying to find out what happened through interviewing friends, family and looking through her bank records.
