We're learning more about a Warren man killed in a hit and run crash when a driver slammed into his motorcycle Wednesday morning.

Julian Hayden was a loving husband and father of five taken far too soon. Hayden was also a U.S. veteran who served in Iraq. He was his mother's only child -- and loved his family dearly.

"It has been one of the most tormented days of my life," said Marta Hayden. "He was like a big bear who would wrap his arms around you and make you feel so warm and good. It didn't matter if you were having the worst day he would come in with a smile and just try to make you happy."

"You can't take that pain out of your heart," said Julian's mother Christine Barco. "I'm watching his babies and thinking Oh my God he won't be there for them. All the babies and he's going to miss their first everything.

"They took away a God-fearing good man."

The family has a GoFundMe page to help pay for the funeral and help Hayden's wife raise the kids.

Now police arrested two in the crash including the alleged driver, 18 -year-old Travis Howard who allegedly fled the scene before being chased down.

He is charged with multiple felonies including driving on a suspended license causing death. A judge released him on bond $5,000.
