A pair of crooks ransack and rob a Detroit home in broad daylight, but they do not know they have been caught on camera.

Tonight police are hoping someone out there can help put these criminals behind bars.

Meanwhile, the homeowner tells us he lost more than his belongings, he has lost faith he can be safe in his own home.

Tony Gibson shared his story about a terrifying incident that happened just before noon last Sunday when he and his wife were not at home.

"These guys just show up and rob people on God's day in broad daylight," says Tony Gibson, the victim of the break-in.

"What they did was reach through the screen, cut the screen, reached through it and unlocked door and kicked in the back door," says Gibson.

Thanks to a surveillance camera the people who broke into his home were caught on video.

"I was somewhat shocked to see faces of someone walk up to a house so casually, someone drive into the driveway and carry out all your stuff," says Gibson.

Tony says the crooks took valuable items and made a mess of his home.

"(They) took all electronics, a firearm, took wife's Jewelry box, flipped over beds and made it a mess," says Gibson.

Tony says this incident has been so traumatizing for his wife that they plan to move, but until move takes place he's making changes in the house.

"I'm getting a double lock so you'll need a key to get in and out of house," says Gibson.

Police say they are investigating the incident and looking at the video but Tony wants anyone out there who recognizes either of these people to do the right thing.

"Anyone out there who knows these guys just turn them in for us," says Gibson.
