Thieves targeted a Pontiac non-profit organization, but that's not stopping the group from continuing its mission of helping the homeless.

All the Thanksgiving favorites two days early as volunteers get ready to feed the less fortunate in Pontiac. Detroit Wall Street Properties joined forces with the non-profit QTMC Inc.

QTMC will be serving dinner until 8 p.m. tonight at 536 N. Perry Street in Pontiac.

"It gives you a really warm feeling of comfort as I strive to do the Lord's work," said Dave Coleman, QTMC, Inc.

The founders of QTMC Inc., Dave and Diane Coleman first met Lawanna and Terrace Turner from Detroit Wall Street Properties in September. Someone had stolen two generators from QTMC and after seeing the story on FOX 2 the Turners replaced the generators - and made a promise to the Colemans.

The Turners did it all, bringing a small army of volunteers, getting food., decorating and they even had aprons made.

"I didn't think my family and friends would do as much as they've done," said Lawanna Turner of Detroit Wall Street Properties. "But they have done a whole lot."

"We made a connection," said Terrace Turner, Jr. of Detroit Wall Street Properties. "When the story first aired it really pulled on our heart strings to go out and help. It was something about QTMC ... I said I can help and my family can help."
