Package pirates plunders packages from Harper Woods porch

Online shopping deliveries are arriving on front porches across the country. In Harper Woods, a package pirate stole the boxes left outside his front door - and he caught the Grinch on video.

The home security video shows the boxes stacked up on the porch. Inside was hundreds of dollars of stereo equipment that was supposed to be for Christmas.

Suddenly, a bright blue minivan pulls up and two guys climb out. They took the boxes they didn't own and put them in their van.

The man who owned them was Alan Moen and he had them delivered while he was at work

"Had I been home obviously I would have picked them up. had I have seen these guys grabbing my stuff, police would have been out on a different call. These guys are the lowest form of life," Moen said. "I did see a FedEx truck go down my street & leave a few minutes before these guys came down. They have been following FedEx and got lucky."

Moen hopes someone sees the video and recognizes the men and then calls police.

"You don't want to air what I would say to the people who did this but basically you're trash, you're garbage. You need to get a job and work for things like I do," Moen said.
