DETROIT (WJBK) - The PGA Tour unveiled its revamped season schedule that features a tournament in Detroit.
The Rocket Mortgage Classic will be held from June 24-30 at the Detroit Golf Club. It's the tour's first return to the Motor City in just about a decade.
According to the tour, the new tournament schedule will prove to be an exciting change for both players and fans, including significant championships every month. You can check out the full schedule here.
Quicken Loans announced it would sponsor a new PGA Tour event in Detroit back in May.
Michigan's Warwick Hills hosted the Buick Open from 1958 through 2009, a tournament that Tiger Woods won three times.
