Police: 3 hurt in Southfield bar shooting

The Southfield Police Department are looking for two suspects in connection to a shooting that happened at Bar 7 Friday night.

Police say upon arrival, officers located a 53-year old male resident of Southfield with a  gunshot wound to the thigh. The victim was transported the victim to Providence Hospital.

While officers were on the scene investigating this incident, they learned that there were two additional victims who had been driven to Providence Hospital in private vehicles.  

Officers responded to the hospital and located a 28-year old male resident of Detroit and a 25-year old male resident of Southfield that both had gunshot wounds. 

None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Both suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

The preliminary investigation revealed that one of the victims was involved in an altercation with one of the suspects. Punches were thrown and that is when the two suspects then pulled out their guns and began shooting.  

No other injuries have been reported.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male with shoulder-length dreadlocks.  He is wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.  He fled the scene in an older, dark-colored sedan, possibly a 1997-2005 Chevrolet Malibu.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.  He fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle.

Photos of Suspect #1 are attached. Investigators are working to obtain pictures and video of the second suspect and of the vehicles they used to flee the scene.
