A husband and wife found dead inside their Clinton Township home Jan. 15.

Police have no motive and no suspects but say couple - both in their 50s -  died of blunt force trauma.

Friends of Christy and Jim McKeogh remember who they call the sweetest couple Monday -- just days after their bodies were discovered inside their home on Uthers.

Last heard from Thursday night, police say Christy's brother who co-owns a Shelby Township business with her, tried calling the couple.

When he couldn't reach them, he stopped by early Friday afternoon and discovering them dead lying in a pool of blood.

Christy was in the living room and Jim in the garage. Police at the scene through Saturday gathering any possible evidence.

Police say Monday it does not appear to be a murder-suicide, as investigators originally suspected.

Investigators are calling it now  a double homicide.

Capt. Richard Mairle says although they're continuing to work several leads, and processing evidence from the home,  they still don't know who targeted this couple and why.

Police say, at this point, it doesn't appear someone broke into the home Suspecting the couple, may have known -- their killer.

Friends of Christy McKeogh say she was a kind person so full of life. She and her husband -- described as "great people."

As friends say they can't imagine how someone could hurt this couple.
