A camp counselor at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield is in custody charged with child porn.

Matthew Kuppe is accused of taking naked pictures and videos of some of the young male campers in a locker room.

The images were discovered by federal investigators online, now prompting a further investigation into how many campers were victims.

No answer from anyone at the home of Kuppe, 21, after his admission of producing child porn while working as a camp counselor.

The criminal complaint filed by the federal government details evidence found when Kuppe's house was raided.

Also included in the complaint were full messages sent between Kuppe and an undercover police officer which were sexually explicit and disturbing.

West Bloomfield residents are waiting to hear how many boys in their community were victimized.

"I have three boys, and that's awful."

"It's good that he got caught at a young age so no other kids could get hurt."

Kuppe, using the username "jcclockerroom," allegedly took pictures of as many as six campers. Now it's up to West Bloomfield police to find if there was any more in the two years Kuppe worked as a counselor.

"We want to fully understand what happened inside the locker room," said Deputy Chief Curt Lawson. "The children need to be interviewed, so it's going to be a long process. We have a lot of detectives who are assigned to this."
