Pregnant woman shot during Pontiac fireworks display

Pontiac police are looking for a suspect wanted in a shooting during the city's fireworks show Friday.

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. in the area of Woodward Avenue and South Blvd. One person, a 28-year-old pregnant Auburn Hills woman, was wounded and hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Police found numerous shell casings and a car with a bullet hole.

Investigators say the suspect is a black female in her early 20s, about 5 feet, 4 inches and 200 pounds. She was wearing a red hat, long braided hair (waist length), a white T-shirt, long red shorts and red shoes.

Police have not released any information about what might have led to the shooting or the circumstances of the incident.
