Redford man charged with killing, mutilating woman

REDFORD TWP - The Wayne County Prosecutor announced Thursday that a Redford man has been charged with killing and mutilating a woman who he had been living with.

Dexter Lamar Williams, 44, was charged Thrusday one count of first degree pre-meditated murder and mutilation of a dead body.

According to officials, Ann Marie Gorup, 46, was killed at her apartment at Lola Manor Park Apartments. Police said they were called to check on Gorup and when they arrived, they reported blood in several rooms and said there were several female body parts in the home.

Williams had been living with Gorup, police said, and they believe he killed her and mutilated her dead body. He was arrested at the scene.

Neighbors told us on Monday that Gorup lived with her boyfriend and her brother at the apartment.
