Report finds recalled toys still may be available online

(WJBK) - Toys can get recalled for a variety of reasons, but you may still be able to buy the recalled toy online. When a toy is recalled, parents might not learn about it unless they are diligently checking product safety websites and listservs, or happen to hear news about a recall in the news.

Choking on small parts, small balls and balloons remains a leading cause of toy-related deaths and injuries. Some toys can pose hidden hazards, exposing children to dangerous chemicals that are linked to serious health problems.
