Robbery, shooting prompts police chase that ended with barricades

- Detroit police are looking for two suspects after a robbery, shooting and police chase overnight. One person has been taken into custody.

Police say a 36-year-old woman was seriously injured when he was shot during a robbery. 

Police say the woman told them she was walking in the area of Woodward and Worcester around 1:45 a.m. Friday, when a red Yukon pulled up and the men inside started robbing her at gunpoint. Police say one of the suspects then shot the victim. 

The suspects then sped off. Detroit police and DPS security began to pursue the Yukon, which drove to the area of Russell and Leland streets. The driver hit some barricades there and the car stopped. 

Police say the three men then tried to run away. Police caught one of the men and have taken him into custody. The other two got away. 

Police recovered a long gun inside their car. 

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.
