DETROIT (WJBK) - A stretch of I-75 is closing Thursday night for pothole patching.
Southbound I-75 from McNichols to Caniff will be closed at the order of Detroit Police Chief James Craig.
Numerous cars were damaged from potholes, causing the decision according to police. There has been no timetable as to how long the repairs may last.
Detroit police also issued a warning for motorists on I-75 and Eight Mile and I-75 at Canfield due to several potholes.
