11 year-old Hazel Park girl recovered safely after overnight search
HAZEL PARK, Mich (WJBK) - An overnight search for an 11 year-old girl from Hazel Park ended early Thursday when when the girl was recovered safe and reunited with her family.
Family, friends and police were searching for Skye Miller-Lewis from late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
Miller-Lewis was last seen at 9 p.m. Wednesday night in her home on Hazelwood street in Hazel Park and was returned around 7 a.m.

"This young man here, he helped me come back home. We just thought about it. He asked me and I said i just want to go home. I said, I just miss my mom and my dad and my family who really cares about me and loves me so much. I felt that way. Mom -- oh, my god. Oh, my god," Skye said.
That young man was James Mark. He told Ryan Ermanni he was sitting on the front porch of a home when he saw the young girl walking around 1 a.m. Thursday.
