Shinola Hotel opens retail shop inside new hotel downtown

DETROIT (WJBK) - The Shinola Hotel opened its retail shop inside the new hotel on Woodward this Black Friday.

People lined up around 8 a.m. for the 10 a.m. opening to take a look at the goods, from watches to fine jewerly to small leather items.

Located at 1420 Woodward, the hotel shop is Shinola's fourth location in the metro Detroit area.

The store hours are Mon-Sat: 10am-7pm; Sun: 11am-6pm.

The Shinola Hotel is slated to open in December.
