Stomp Out the Violence march in Pontiac

Hundreds of people came together on Memorial Day to remember family members and friends who were lost to violent crime.

Marchers gathered at Murphy Park and bowed their heads to pray before hitting the streets to "stomp out the violence."

FOX 2's Ingrid Kelley takes us to the march in Pontiac. You can watch her report in the video player above.

Organizers say they hope by lifting their voices and marching for change the perpetrators of violence will see that they will restore peace to the streets of Pontiac one step at a time.
