DETROIT (WJBK) - The man police said shot and killed a man outside a funeral home in Detroit last week was arrested in Pennsylvania.
Last week, 24-year-old Joshua Lowman was shot and killed outside the Cantrell funeral home on Detroit's east side. Police and family members said that Lowman was paying respects to Javon Parker, who was shot and killed the week before on Nashville Street.
Police confirmed to FOX 2 that Perez Smith was arrested in Pennsylvania over the weekend and will be sent back to Michigan to be charged with murder.
Parker was killed in what appeared to be a drive-by, while four others were also wounded but they survived.
Police said last week that their suspect was Perez Smith, a 28-year-old from Detroit.
