Suspects punch out 64-year-old in attempted robbery at Detroit liquor store

- Detroit Police are asking for the public's help identifying three men wanted in an attempted robbery at a liquor store, one of whom knocked an elderly man out.

Police say the robbery happened Saturday, February 6 around 6:00 p.m. Three men walked up to a 64-year-old inside a liquor store in the 12800 block of Plymouth.

One of them said "give me some money" then punched the man in the face. The victim, who was carrying a cane, did not anticipate the punch and fell backwards onto floor.

The suspect calmly walked out of the store, followed by the other two suspects. Before they all left, however, another suspect took it upon himself to hit the victim one more time, as he lay on the floor.

The three guys then walked out and left in a silver Dodge Journey.

Police released the followings suspects for all three men:

Suspect 1: Black male, 5'6', 150, medium complexion, black short hair, wearing gray hoodie, black pants and gray shoes

Suspect 2:  Black male, 25-30-years -old, black braided hair, wearing glasses, blue hooded sweat shirt, dark jeans and dark shoes.

Suspect 3:  Black male, 20-30- years-old, 5'11', approximately 195 lbs., wearing a dark hat, gray sweat shirt and dark pants.
