CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - In Chesterfield Township detectives are looking for a petty thief who apparently left behind a big, smelly pile of his DNA.
On Sunday morning, a resident realized his son's bike was missing. A neighbor checked his surveillance video and spotted a trespasser, who had apparently rummaged through a car and snatched a bike.
But before he took off, he decided to drop his personal business on the side of the family's house.
Neighbors, naturally, are disgusted by the vile behavior and tell us they hope the suspect is caught soon.
After larceny from several cars in the area, Chesterfield Township Police put out a warning Tuesday on social media telling people to lock their car doors, to keep their garage doors closed and, of course, their front doors as well.
If you have any information about what happened, you're asked to call Chesterfield Township Police.
