Today's the last day to register to vote in Nov. election

Tuesday, October 9, 2018 is the last day to register to vote for the election next month.

In Michigan, the governor's office, Secretary of State and attorney general's office are all up for grabs. So is Debbie Stabenow's U.S. Senate seat, and several seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Voters will also weigh in on three statewide proposals, including the hotly contested 18-1 which would legalize recreational marijuana.

To see what exactly will be on your ballot, or to verify your voter registration information, visit www.michigan.gov/vote.

You can register by mail or at your county, city or township clerk office -- or by visiting any Secretary of State branch office.

Election Day is November 6. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
