Toddler, adult die after being pulled from pool at apartment complex

(WJBK) - A toddler and adult  have died after being pulled from a pool in Novi Tuesday afternoon.

A 3-year-old boy and his 31-year-old father were pulled out of the pool located in the Glens of Northville apartment complex north of Eight Mile Road.

Both were unresponsive at the time they were discovered. A child's tricycle was found at the bottom of the pool, according to police. 

The child was riding the tricycle around the pool and at some point, fell in. The father went into the pool after him and tried to rescue him, according to police.
