Ferndale police have released video of a man who appears to be posting offensive flyers on the outside of a church Monday.

Video shows a white man in sunglasses and a hat outside the First United Methodist Church posting a flyer on a door and talking a phone picture of it.

The flyer shows a man who has tape over his mouth and the news organization logo InfoWars on his forehead with offensive sketches. There is also an anti-Semitic message about Jews and free speech.

Ferndale Police is investigating the incident and say no threats were made to anyone. They also say they plan to contact Royal Oak Police after reports surfaced that this flier also made an appearance at this year's Arts, Beats, and Eats Festival.

Reverend Robert Schoenhals says in the past they have found messages of hate posted inside the church, but nothing has happened to make them overly concerned about security issues.

"We feel quite secure in the ways that we operate now," he said to FOX 2 Monday. "Jesus was a Jew. So if you have problems with Jews then you probably have problems with Jesus."

Anyone with information is asked to call Ferndale police at 248-541-3650.
