WANTED: Gregory Walker identified as suspect in Amber Alert abduction

- Detroit police have identified the suspect in the abduction of 14-year-old Deontae Mitchell.

Police are looking for Gregory Walker, 45, of Detroit.

Investigators believe Deontae Mitchell was abducted at about 10:30 Tuesday night near a convenience store on Detroit's east side. An Amber Alert is in effect and Walker is considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators have just released surveillance video showing the abduction. The video shows the suspect grabbing Deontae Mitchell by the arm last night and forcing him into a black Chevrolet Impala ending with the video showing the vehicle driving away. 

This happened near Nino's Market located at Warren and Buckingham. Police say Walker was last seen driving a 2002 Chevy Impala with a loud muffler.

According to the Department of Corrections, he was convicted of cocaine possession, firearms, receiving and concealing stolen property in the past.
