Warren barricaded situation ends, after shots fired this afternoon

Warren, Mich (WJBK) - A barricaded gunman is dead in Warren after firing four shots before turning the gun on himself. 

Police confirmed they received a call around 1pm to Arden Manor Apartments in Warren. Special response team responded and entered the apartment with a robot. 

Inside they found the 26-year old gunman dead in the living room from self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“I heard four shots go off, I thought it was a transformer going so I checked my power, power was okay, next thing I know half hour later, officers are swarming the place telling us to stay in our building," neighbor John Wood said. 

No other injuries have been reported.
