Star-studded NAIAS auto show charity preview in full swing

All eyes in Detroit are on Charity Preview night at the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center.

The city's most glamorous night allows some of the biggest names in the city to enjoy the cars, music and food. This year's music guest is the iconic Motown group The Four Tops.

The FOX 2 team is there, covering the stars and checking out the red carpet. About eight charities for children benefit from the gala and since it began in 1976, has raised $112 million. Organizers say this year's event raised $5.1 million.

The auto show is open to the public and runs from Jan. 20 to Saturday, Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. No admittance after 9 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with no admittance after 6 p.m.

Tickets are $14, seniors and children are $7.

There is early access for handicapped individuals at 8 a.m. Enter at the Hall C Entrance only.
