It's not the type of anniversary anyone looks forward to.

“(It) is the 10th month she's been missing and we really want to find her and bring her home,” said Yvonne Williams, Katrina’s sister.

Family members of Katrina Williams - a mother and grandmother - say she would never just leave and not say a word.

“Her son and his girlfriend got into a bad argument - my sister - and she left and we haven't seen her or heard since,” said Yvonne.

She says she has no clue of what could have happened.

Her elderly mother says it's heartbreaking.

“I think about her morning, noon, and night. I just wish she could hear my voice to know I’m still looking for her. I haven’t given up on her and I won’t give up on her until I have some closure,” said Janie Williams, Katrina’s mother.

Yvonne says her sister had two strokes and could barely walk or talk and needs her medication.

“Not knowing her condition, she's sick. Me not knowing if she's here or gone to heaven. It's very overwhelming,” said Yvonne.

Family members say Detroit Police continue to investigate but they are also searching.

“We've been reaching out for help, going through neighborhoods walking around abandoned houses and everything,” said Yvonne.

As the wait continues, the family admits every night is a struggle to sleep as they hope and wait for their loved one to come home.

They hope that if anyone knows where Katrina is, they will speak up.”

Janie said, “If you know anything please contact the family.”
