- A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for all of southeast Michigan Thursday. The advisory is in effect now until noon.

Despite the sunshine, the wind chill values will range today from 20 to 30 degrees below zero. The wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties are all under the advisory. Most of the cold chills will be in the morning.

Hundreds of schools were closed Friday among the frigid temperatures.
