ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) - Police are investigating after some windows of SMART buses were shot out with some type of BB gun. They're looking at two separate incidents that both happened on Gratiot, just miles and minutes apart from each other.
Roseville Police say the first happened around 7:50 p.m. near Frazho, and that two windows on the bus were shattered. They believe the BB gun was shot out of a passing vehicle by an unknown suspect.
Nine people and the driver were onboard but nobody was injured.
Police say it's similar to an incident that happened in Eastpointe shortly after. That one happened near Nine Mile, and police on the scene Monday night told us that a female passenger had a knee injury.
So far, no suspects have been identified.
Police are continuing to investigate. Stay with FOX 2 for more information as it becomes available.
