Another blast of winter weather is blowing through southeastern Michigan.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon on Wednesday thanks to blustery conditions and bursts of snow across St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.

>>Most school districts appear to be open Wednesday. Check our closing list HERE which is constantly updated for the most recent closings.

Snow showers will move into the area overnight and persist well into the morning. Some of these snow showers will be intense and capable of dropping visibilities to near zero, according to the National Weather Service.

Accumulations will range from a half inch up to 2 inches, with higher amounts possible. In addition, southwest winds will gust over 40 miles per hour at times, leading to some blowing of the fresh snow that falls. Temperatures will be in the high 20s tonight, meaning icy surface streets and roads should stay that way overnight.

According to DTE Energy, there are still 7,000 customers without power. For the outage map, go to http://dteenergy.com/map/outage.html
