Woman fights off home invader who tried to get into her bed

Police in Rochester Hills are investigating a very scary home invasion.

"I heard his voice. I wake up. I'm so scared," said the home invasion victim.

The victim is too afraid to show her face but she wanted to share her story.

Last week she says she was asleep in her bed when a man entered her house through an unlocked door and tried to get into her bed.

"He tried to push my blanket and I screamed," she said.

That's when the homeowner knew she had to take charge.

"I pushed him and I screamed get out of here," she said. "He started to walk down the stairs and I pushed him go from my home."

But once the suspect got downstairs he refused to leave.

"He started to come up again for me and I push again," she said. "And he left."

The victim contacted her daughter who came home and called police.

Investigators came out with a canine unit but the suspect got away.

The victim's daughter says she is grateful her mother was not hurt and nothing was stolen but she has this message for the suspect -

"How would you like it if that was your mother," her daughter said.
