Woman found dead after apparent hit-and-run in Oxford Twp.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-and-run that killed a young womanTuesday morning in Oxford Township.

The victim was found by a newspaper delivery woman just off of Drahner Road east of Olive Drive.

Investigators say the woman appears to be in her twenties. Police have not identified the victim but think she may be a Brandon Township resident.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim may have been trying to cross the road on foot and was hit.

Weather conditions may have been a factor.
