Woman running from I-94 crash hit and killed by car as other driver called police

A 22-year-old woman who rear-ended a car on I-94 and then ran from the scene on foot was hit and killed by a passing car on the interstate early Thursday morning.

The woman, identified as Lindsay Neville, was driving her 2008 Dodge Cailber west on I-94 in Chesterfield Township near 23 Mile. According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, Neville rear-ended a Pontiac Fiero driven by a 36-year-old man.

While crossing the eastbound lanes, she was hit byt a 37-year-old man driving a Chevy Equinox.
