Taylor Police Search for Hit & Run Driver

Taylor, MI - Police are looking to the driver of a Ford F-150, who they believe struck two teens on a moped Saturday night.

Austin McCumber and Martin Jaime, both 17-year-old, were riding a moped on Harold Street, when they went through a stop sign at Joan Street and were struck by the pickup truck. The truck was traveling west on Joan Street.

The driver of the pickup truck left the scene. It was described as an early 2000s model and white in color.

McCumber and Jaime were transported to a nearby hospital. Jaime was later released, but McCumber remains in critical condition.
