Man injured in shooting at Detroit gas station

A man is in stable condition tonight after police say he was shot twice at a gas station on Detroit's east side.

Police say the shooting happened Saturday evening at a Marathon gas station in the 20000 block of Van Dyke.

Police say a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix pulled into the gas station, a man then got out of the vehicle and fired shots at the suspect, striking him twice in the lower body.

The man was transported to St. John hospital and is listed in stable condition.
