The Flint native tweeted several 'demands' Thursday morning. The first was for African-Americans behind bars for nonviolent crimes to be released. The second one is the one that's getting the most attention.
His tweets game in the wake of the protests of the death of Baltimore's Freddie Gray. Gray died from a spinal injury after he was arrested by Baltimore police. It is unknown when Gray suffered the injury while he was in police custody.
Next demand: Disarm the police. We have a 1/4 billion 2nd amendment guns in our homes 4 protection. We'll survive til the right cops r hired— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) April 30, 2015
Moore is known for voicing his political opinions and doing so loudly. In January, he tweeted against the movie "American Sniper" and called snipers "cowards".
