One of the most important vehicles to General Motors is the Chevy Cruze.

One out of every three people who buy a Cruze come over from another brand. Now, they'll have another option in the hatchback. It's sportier, roomier, and has plenty of cargo room.

But the big headliner for Chevy is the Bolt. it was first revealed at the 2015 Auto Show and now, it's ready to roll.

"The Bolt EV is truely the first EV that cracks the code of long range at an affordable price," CEO Mary Barra said.

Bolt costs under 35k with incentives. it has a cargo room and performs like a sports sedan and not like an ev. gets 200 miles/charge

"The electric drive unit features a new high capacity electric motor developed by us right here at general motors. with 266 foot pounds of torque, 200 hp, final drive ratio of 7 to 1, the bolt ev accelerates 0-60 at less than 7 seconds," Mark Reuss, President of GM North America, said.
