For two days, crowds of media members are filling Cobo Center to gather around automakers to see the latest and greatest. Among the herd on Tuesday was Governor Rick Snyder.

Governor Snyder spent the entire morning canvassing the showroom floor. Getting exclusive tours from industry vips.

He saw the newest trucks and luxury cars and even military vehicles on his entertaining business trip.

"This is the greatest show here. In terms of products and way to show off Detroit," Snyder said.

Given the challenges facing the governor at the moment, the auto show is a chance to showcase why the Motor City is so aptly named.

"Let's be loud and proud Detroiters and show what a great show this is and why it's headquartered here in the D. A positive future here in the state."

All told, the governor spent more than three hours at the show.
