Something old is new again at the 2016 North American International Auto Show and it's idea that Chrysler pioneered.

On Monday, FCA unveiled the all new minivan. That's not a new concept but what they've done with it, is.

FCA pulled an old name out of the bag for the 2016 Pacifica. FCA called it the future and reinvented it from the ground up. How'd the do it? With the latest technology.

The Pacifica has more than 100 safety features and 37 new innovations including a multiple touchscreen theater system.

With seating for 8 and 28 miles per gallon, the Pacifica is built for families.

But that wasn't all. FCA also unveiled the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. This one get 80 MPGs and will be available later this year.

The pricetags, however, are still unknown. Officials say they'll release that when it gets closer to releasing the car for sale.
