This weekend celebrate the Negro League at Comerica Park

The Detroit Tigers are honoring the men who were banned from playing in the major leagues because of their skin color.

It is the team's 13th annual Negro Leagues Weekend.

On Friday the team hosted a legacy luncheon and among the honored guests were Willie Horton, David Price and "Sweet Lou" Whitaker  who was given the Detroit Tigers African-American Legacy Award.

On Saturday the Tigers and Indians will wear throwback jerseys from Detroit and Cleveland's Negro League teams.
