The fire which broke out at the school early Tuesday morning was reported around 6 a.m., but firefighters believe the blaze may have started much earlier than that.
Sixty to eighty students attend the school which is now a pile of rubble.
"I've already got a group of parents who are seeking out rentable space. I mean, that's the biggest thing. We've got 60 families here who are dependant on us for an education. We've been around for 35 plus years and we plan on staying around," says Director of Northville Montessori, Keith Gall.
Southbound Haggerty Road was blocked for hours but has since reopened to traffic.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
In light of this morning's fire, some parents have organized to put together a GoFundMe page, http://gofund.me/nnuyfc
