A police report obtained by FOX 2 says it happened June 8 at the Blue Tide Apartments in Holly Hill, which is about an hour north of Orlando.
The pellets hit one woman in the shoulder and mouth, breaking two bottom teeth. She was taken to the hospital for help.
Other victims were struck in other areas that did not result in severe injury. The victims stated they initially thought they had been severely stung by a wasp or another insect, and then spotted some BBs on the ground.
It was then determined the area from which the BBs came, which is the apartment the boys were staying at with their grandmother.
According to the police report, the boys denied firing the BB gun. The BB gun belongs to an older cousin who had left it at the grandmother's home earlier that week. She had been keeping it in her bedroom.
FOX 2's sister station in Orlando reports the boys have returned back to Michigan. You can watch WOFL's report in the video player above.
The boys, whose identities have not been released because they are both minors, could be facing charges of aggravated and simple battery.
