Police: 'SOS' note left behind at diner by child raises alarm

Berkley Police are looking to talk to those who may be responsible for an incident that has police very concerned.

Chief Bob North of Berkley Police say at this time they have no reason or evidence that suggests foul play, however there is caution for concern.

Police say surveillance video shows a child (in company) of adults at Alex's Family Diner on 12 mile road in Berkley shortly before 1:30 p.m. Monday.

As one of the adults the child was with was checking out, the child left some sort of 'SOS' note behind.

According to police, the note said "I'm with some people, please help me."

At this time the police do not know if the note was a prank, or if the child had written the note never intending it to cause alarm.

At any rate, police are asking that if you were in the diner, or if you recognize any one in question in the video, please contact police immediately.
