Pontiac teen girls recovering after stabbing, bleach attack

Two 15-year-old girls from were attacked in Pontiac - one was stabbed and the other with bleach.

Bleach was thrown in one girl's face, while the other was stabbed in the arm after an attack by two other teen girls. Both are expected to recover.

Police say a 17-year-old female stabbed one of the victims, while a 16-year-old used bleach in her assault.

Bryon Wilson is the cousin of the teen attacked with bleach and says the girls know their attackers from school.

"I just know my little cousin came back home and she had bleach stains all over her," he said. "And her friend had cuts on her."

Investigators say the teens were fighting in the 600 block of Colorado Street.

The victim who was stabbed was trying to get into a car to get away, when she was attacked with the knife.

Wilson says the teens were involved in some sort of dispute.

"People don't have any manners, no sense of humor," he said. "It's just crazy."

Investigators say the suspects left the fight scene and made it to their home on Rockwell in Pontiac. They were taken in custody and the knife was recovered.

The two girls were taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.

"They are doing good," Wilson said. "She went to hospital got stitches, and my little cousin is okay."

The family member of the one of the victims has this message for the attackers:

"It's going to be all in God's hands," he said. "That's all we can do."
