Report: Gov. Rick Snyder not running for president in 2016

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder will run for president in 2016, according to the Politico.com Wednesday.

In the story, Alex Isenstadt reports that "two sources familiar with his planning" say Snyder will not make a bid for the 2016 presidential race.

The 56-year-old  Republican was elected in 2010 but on Tuesday watched his road fix solution Proposal 1, fail in a landslide. 

A source said that Snyder "expressed concern" about the commitment of time required for campaigning at the national level.
