Two siblings were found critically injured in an early-morning house fire in Southfield.

The house is in the 28 thousand block of Marshall Street, which is near 12 Mile and Greenfield roads.

The fire started in the back of the house. The siblings were found unresponsive on the floor in a front bedroom.

Battalion Chief Barry White of Southfield Fire says the cause of the fire is not known at this time. He adds there were no working smoke detectors inside the house.

The boy is said to be 10-year-old Nathaniel Mosby. His sister is in her early 20s. Investigators originally thought the boy was found inside the home with his mother.

A neighbor has started a GoFundMe account to help the family with home repairs and medical bills. Click here if you'd like to donate.
