A routine noise complaint call in Carrollton didn’t quite turn out to be what officers were expecting.

The Carrollton Police Department shared body cam video of the noise complaint call they responded to last month in the 1800 block of North Josey Lane.

“Are y’all having like a party or something?” an officer can be heard asking as he approached a group of men in a parking lot.

The group explained they knew they probably looked suspicious, but they were actually practicing for an upcoming wedding they were performing in.

“We’re just having dance practice,” a man told the officer. “Would you like to see some of it?”

“Yeah! I kind of would, actually,” the officer replied.

The group then showed off their dance moves synced to "My Girl" by the Temptations and wowed the officer.

“See, mine was nothing like that,” the officer jokingly told the group.

The police department posted the happy moment online with the caption, “We see a lot of bad. But we see a lot of good too.”

The body cam video ends with the words, “Congratulations to the happy couple from C.P.D.”
