Trump names John F. Kelly as White House Chief of Staff, ousting Reince Priebus

Secretary John F. Kelly has been named White House Chief of Staff, replacing former Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus.

President Donald Trump made the announcement via Twitter at 4:49 p.m. Friday, calling Kelly a "true star" of his administration.

 

Prior to this new position, Kelly was U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security.
