Watch: Detroit police to talk about weekend violence

Detroit police are going to address this weekend's violence in a news conference Monday morning.

The conference is expected to begin at 2 p.m. You can watch a livestream on the FOX 2 Detroit Facebook page or on our livestream page at www.fox2detroit.com/live. A replay of FOX 2 News mornings will play until the news conference begins. 

Detroit police are expected to talk some recent violence in the city, including a 12-year-old who was shot, an 81-year-old who was carjacked and a woman who was held captive for multiple days while being raped, stabbed and beaten.

She eventually escaped and is in the hospital. You can read more about her story here. One person is in custody.
