A judge must decide whether there's enough evidence to send Charlie Bothuell and Monique Dillard-Bothuell to trial on charges of torture and child abuse. A long-running hearing resumed Wednesday.

The boy, also named Charlie Bothuell, says he was forced to do daily workouts. He says he was sent to the family's basement as punishment for interrupting a workout last summer.

But on cross-examination, Charlie acknowledged that he was proud of his body after repeatedly using an elliptical machine and performing other exercises.

Charlie was found in his cluttered basement last June after an 11-day search, triggering an investigation.
